Body pimples or acne can be caused by a combination of different factors. They are small lesions or inflammation of the skin. They can occur on any body part and can be painful and frustrating. Chest, back, face, genitals, groin are areas where body pimples can commonly occur. Body pimples are mainly caused due to bacteria, hormones and excessive oil production by the sebaceous glands. The skin consists of tiny pores, which are connected to the oil glands. When these pores are clogged by dirt, dead skin cells or excessive oil, an outburst of body pimples can occur.
What is the Cure for Body Pimples?

Maintaining good personal hygiene and regular exfoliation of the skin helps in preventing body pimples. Cleansing your skin regularly and exfoliating helps in removing the dirt and dead skin cells which clog the pores and cause pimples. Most people are tempted to pop a pimple. Though this may be a quick solution, is it unsafe and risky. Popping a pimple will leave deep scars on your skin which can last for a long time. Here are a few tips on how to cure body pimples.
Avoid Squeezing:

A pimple which is ripe and filled with pus heals naturally. Pus filled pimples are mostly in the last stage of healing. Do not touch the pimples as this may cause irritation and worsen the condition.
Choose the Right Product: Use anti-bacterial soap or face-wash which is specially formulated to treat body pimples. Avoid make-up and cosmetics containing chemicals, instead opt for a mild organic cleansers or skin care products. Chemicals irritate the skin and may lead to more outbreaks of pimples.
Exfoliate:

Exfoliate your body at least once in a week to remove dead skin cells and dirt that are accumulating in the pores of your skin. This will help you get rid of body pimples and avoid further acne breakouts since clogged pores of the skin are the main cause of acne or pimples. So, don’t forget to exfoliate your body with an exfoliating body sponge when you are in shower.
Use Moisturizer:

You should also keep your skin moisturized with a good Body Moisturizer after shower. Dry skin can also cause irritation to the skin and lead to acne breakouts or pimples. However, always opt for an oil-free body moisturizer to avoid oily skin. Keeping your skin moisturized will help you get rid of body pimples.
Topical Treatments: If your acne persists, you may also like to use some over-the-counter anti-products such as benzoyl peroxide and Salicylic Acid. However, it’s always better to consult your dermatologist or doctor before you start using any new product.
Keep Your Body Clean Always:

Don’t forget to take a shower after indulging in some heavy physical activities that will make your body sweat badly, such as exercising, dancing and sports. Sweat accumulation can cause acne breakouts.
